Before pivoting into Real Estate Commercial Business Brokerage, Jimmy was in the Food & Beverage Hospitality Industry for more than 30 years. He worked in 5 Star Luxury Hotels, well known National Prime Steakhouses, Brasserie Le Coze (sister restaurant of Le Bernardin in NYC) and was Chef De Cuisine for English Actor Michael Caine at his restaurant South Beach Brasserie. Jimmy is also a Culinary Arts graduate from one of the best culinary schools in the US, Johnson & Wales University. Fulfilling a lifelong dream of having his own establishment, Jimmy opened the first Restaurant Jimmy’z Kitchen in 2007 in Miami’s Chic South Beach, subsequently opening four additional locations in the Miami and Atlanta markets. Jimmy was a visionary and pioneer in the Miami Wynwood Art’s District, he opened his flagship restaurant in 2010 and helped create what Wynwood is now, one of the most sought-after tourist destinations in the world. Jimmy was also a pioneer in Miami of the chef-inspired fast casual concept, and renowned for his Latin inspired healthy and delicious fare. For years Jimmy participated consecutively in the Food Network & Cooking Channel, South Beach Wine & Food Festival. Jimmy has been involved in numerous TV shows, food demonstrations and featured in Buen Provecho, a PBS and Emmy Award-winning documentary that explores Florida’ Spanish food roots through its cuisine.
